Sinqua Walls to Reprise Role of Lancelot in ONCE UPON A TIME

Hear ye! Hear ye! Calling all lords and ladies of the land who enjoy watching Once Upon a Time. Sorry (not sorry), I just always wanted to do that. Anyways, if you’ve been watching Once Upon a Time or keeping up with my recap coverage, you are already aware that the end of the fourth season saw the heroes of Storybrooke preparing to track down Merlin. We already knew the showrunners were casting for the famous wizard, King Arthur and Guinevere, but according to Entertainment Weekly, Sinqua Walls (of Power, Teen Wolf) will be returning as Lancelot.

“Oh man, you can’t go to Camelot and not see Lancelot,” executive producer Edward Kitsis told the publication.

But wait! Didn’t Cora say she killed him and took on his appearance to help her escape the Enchanted Forest with Emma and Snow? Sure, that happened, but it doesn’t mean he can’t make a reappearance.  If there’s anything we know about the show, it’s that everything is possible.

Though we’re hoping he shows up in present day, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he was brought back on merely for flashback scenarios with his fellow Camelot residents. Whatever the case, I’m just glad the show recovered from the dreadful Frozen-themed first half of season 4. It will be interesting to see how the plot twists we were left with at the end of last season are woven into the Camelot setting. I for one, can’t wait to find out.

Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, September 27th.
