Silence In NERD COURT For Superman v. Batman

While the world waits with bated breath for their chance to see even a teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, the arguments still wage on over which one is a better superhero. Does Batman’s immense wealth and brilliant mind trump Superman’s laundry list of incredible powers? That is not for me to decide, but some believe the answer has already been given. In fact, Bats and Supes have gone at it a few times in the past.

The first time came in the popular 1986 Frank Miller story The Dark Knight Returns. It is tough to say who won that fight seeing has how Batman dropped dead of a heart attack, only for it to be proved later that he faked his own death. The two would tussle two more times in The Dark Knight Strikes Again and Jeph Loeb’s Batman: Hush. Each of those fights were much more decidedly won by Batman. So, for those keeping score that is three fights in which Batman was able to best Superman in some fashion. The question that still needs to be answered, though, is: Who is the better superhero?

Over on YouTube, Skybound Entertainment set out to find that answer. An original show on Skybound’s channel, Nerd Court, sets to pit two nerds against each other in a People’s Court style battle over the nerdiest of topics. Their debut episode tackles the question of whether Batman or Superman is the better hero with comedians Matt Cook and Michael Lucid representing Superman and Batman respectively. The episode is almost fifteen minutes long so be sure to set some time aside to see the whole thing through. There is also a surprise visit from YouTube star, and host of Oh, Hey Batman, Mike Falzone as The Caped Crusader himself.

The results…may surprise you.

So who do you agree with. Is Superman better than Batman, or vice versa? Fight it out in the comments below!
