SHOVEL KNIGHT is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita April 21, Discount Revealed for PS Plus Subscribers

While we knew Shovel Knight–which was originally released for Nintendo 3DS and  Wii U–was coming to Sony’s consoles some time this year, we didn’t know when. Well, that is about to change today! That’s right, according to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, Yacht Clubs’ 2D side scrolling platforming title will be making its way to the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita April 21.

PS Plus Spring Fever

This information was revealed via a post detailing the Spring Fever 2015 PSN event, which is already featuring anticipated games like Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Bastion and Axiom Verge. According to the post, the event, which kicks off March 3 with HellDivers, will highlight “some of the most unique titles coming to PS4 from incredibly talented developers and discounting their games for PS Plus members during each game’s launch week.”

Yep, that means you will be getting Shovel Knight, as well as the rest of the lineup, at a discounted price during the first week it is out, as long as you are a PS plus subscriber. You’ll be able to pick up the 8-bit title for $13.49 from 4/21-4/27 and $14.99 any time after that. That is a 10% discount.

If that wasn’t awesome enough, Shovel Knight will support cross-buy, so once you buy the title on one PlayStation console, you’ll also have it on the other two. Also, if you remember back during Shovel Knight‘s PlayStation debut reveal at PSX, God of War‘s Kratos has managed to find his way into the game. This guy sure gets around, doesn’t he?
