Shirley Manson, Brian Regan, Andrea Savage, Post-THRILLING Thrills: Coming Podcasts

Coming up this week on the Nerdist Podcast Network (subject, as always, to scheduling, pre-emption, and the usual unforseen circumstances):

*It’s been 20 years (!) since the release of Garbage’s self-titled debut album, and Shirley Manson is on the Nerdist Podcast to talk about the band as family, the new album they’re working on, becoming an inadvertent fashion icon, and even a little sci-fi.

*The hilarious Brian Regan will be on the Nerdist Podcast, and we haven’t recorded it yet but there aren’t too many funnier or more influential stand-ups out there. Can’t wait.

*Writer/actress Andrea Savage is in the new movie Sleeping With Other People, and she’s on the Nerdist Podcast to promote that, but that’s not the real story on this episode. No, it’s her special place in Chris’ life as an ex who was there at the end of the “Peter Hardwick” regime and as someone whose advice led Chris to clean up, focus his life, and… the result is right here at Nerdist Industries. So there’s reminiscing, lots of it, and talk about parenting and pitching projects with female leads and plenty more. If you don’t know about Andrea, you’ll become a fan from this one.

*The post-mortem for Thrilling Adventure Hour continues with another post-show episode, this time with co-creator Ben Acker joined by Autumn Reeser and Paget Brewster.

*And there’ll be a couple of Nerdist Writers Panel episodes, too, with writer Steven Knight and a second “An Animated Career” episode with video game actor/producer Jason Spisak and animation artist Shannon Eric Denton talking to Heath and Adam.

Plus a lot more, as always. Make sure you frequent the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage and the Nerdist Podcast Network Facebook page all week, all year, forever. You won’t want to miss anything.
