Some must-listen episodes should be put up as a featured link. This is so great for non-listeners to hear.

  2. Sean says:

How may I get in contact with Patty. I am a heal care worker and would love to network with her and talk about some of the issues that were discussed in this episode.

@ Todd. The HPV vaccine has a cut off at 26 because research didn’t find that the vaccine benefited women above that age and to my knowledge, men weren’t used is these vaccination studies for the older age groups. Generally it’s assumed that most people have been exposed to HPV by 26 and the relative expensive vaccine won’t benefit those patients much, but that’s a generality and doesn’t address an individual’s specific medical needs. Talk to your doctor if you have concerns and would like to ask for the vaccine “off label”.

  3. Todd Mason says:

Even more informative than the usual packed (and sometimes packing) episode…I certainly wondered why the HPV vaccine has an age cutoff. but hadn’t pursued it…

  4. Imriel says:

Great episode! Any text resources for those facts Patty talks about in the episode? (HPV factoids, etc.)
