You often see Japanese porn online with a guy that has a 6″ penis and half the comments are “really hot girl. guy has a small penis though.” I’m really not sure why guys are disappointed by the small/average penis. My theory is that they just want to call the average penis small so anonymous people on the internet think they’re big. Also it spreads feelings of inadequacy slightly throughout the world, which hurts other men psychologically and raises the troll’s chances of getting laid 0.0001%.
I agree there was some offensive stereotyping and I’m not even Asian.
MY GOD!
I laughed so hard at Dave’s “Yeah, but it’s only 300 square feet” joke.
sac is ghost in the shell stand alone complex (i’m guessing??), chin chin is short from ochinchin which is a word for penis….I watch too much anime, I don’t actually know any japanese at all lol
First time listener. I had to turn off the podcast 15 minutes into it because within the first 15 minutes, Dan had managed to say 3 or 4 discriminatory things about Japanese people jokingly. I’m all for taking a joke lightly, but when it’s a racially disparaging joke in a podcast about Japan of all things, I just seems a tad inappropriate.
But what do I know, I’m just a small dicked Asian American man who can’t drive for shit.
Sandra & Dave,
There are fantasy suites here in the states. Here’s a link to one near us in Clinton, IL. http://www.sunsetinnandsuites.com/ They have had a one year waiting list for most of the themed rooms. Just a quick web search showed at least 2 more in Lake Tahoe and Anaheim.
First time listener here. Cool show. You’re able to talk about sexuality without coming across as preachy or annoying. You sound genuinely sex positive. Not the “sex positive” type who is sex positive as long as there’s no actual sex involved.
Have you ever watched the documentary “the great happiness space” It came out about 5 or so years ago? It’s about the male host clubs. It kind of explained the whole deal with female hosts making up the bulk of clients at the male hosts club. It was a fascinating documentary (when it came out)
Your podcast pretty much confirmed the work hard/play hard philosophy that seems to guide sexuality in japan. Did you come across the ‘herbivore men’ phenomenon? Does it really exist or is it all hype?
Silly Sandra, that’s doesn’t go in your mouth.
