WOW, that man has an amazingly wonderful-sounding voice. I know there is so much more to say about him and his work, but it is like honey to my ears!
FANTASTIC episode! I really enjoyed the entire interview. The whole sexual identity subject has always been an interest of mine, and Buck really answered a lot of questions that have been building up in my head for years. I also really liked the part toward the end about expressing enjoyment and communication during sex which I think is incredibly important. I hope you can have Buck on again, and other trans/inter people. yay knowledge!
Too bad Dave couldn’t be on this episode. I think his slightly less adventurous outlook on sex would have brought an interesting point of view to the table. Regardless this was an excellent episode and i hope that maybe Buck could make a return someday cuz he is a cool dude.
Contrast Kate Bornstein, a MTF surgically transgendered person, who was attracted to women as a man and remained so as a woman (which attraction made it initially difficult to find a surgical team willing to work with her at that time). Her play, HIDDEN: A GENDER, is amusing and interesting in several dimensions.
