TOPICS: Describing AVN, Rock & Roll, Swinger Squirting Seminar, Chocolate Dildo, National Geographic, Light Hearted Sex Party, “Sex Educator Serious,” Squirting, Metaphors, G-Spot Flux Capacitor, Jack the Zipper, Celebrity Chef, Hummer Limo, Justine Joli, Jiz Lee, Ryan Mclane, Pop Rocks Sushi, Stereotypes, Porn Star Prom and the industry turning over a new leaf.

About Gram Ponante:

The editor of Naked Truth (NSFW link), Gram has been writing about pornography since 2002, though he never expected to get more than three months of material out of it. Since then, he has edited adult industry trade magazines AVN and XBiz (where he is still a contributor), Hustler, Fleshbot.com, and dozens more classy publications. He has contributed to the great Gamelink since 2006. Gram regularly speaks about issues facing the adult industry — both entertaining and grim — at colleges and conferences, and has published several popular eBooks (NSFW link) about his time as America’s Beloved Porn Journalist (Surprise! Also a NSFW link).

Great episode. I’m new to the podcast(2nd one I’ve listened to) and you’ve got yourself a new regular listener, Sandra.

  2. LordOberon says:

Hearing Marlin Perkins narrating a Swinger or Porn convention would be outstanding! Damn I miss that show from my childhood.

Loved the interview and Bob needs some Sex Nerd swag for posting the mp3 link!!!

  3. Todd Mason says:

Thanks, Bob. Marlin Perkins’s show was actually called (MUTUAL OF OMAHA’S) WILD KINGDOM. Though the various NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC series (before they branded their own cable channels) were notable for being on nearly every US broadcast network and syndicated repeats over the same decades as WILD KINGDOM ran (mostly on NBC and in syndication).

  4. Michael says:

I prefer G. Stein. (“There is no there, there.”)

  5. Todd Mason says:

Still true. It’s a Dadaist episode. (“It has daddy issues?”)
