This week’s comedian taking on the challenge of Paul Provenza and Troy Conrad’s “stand-up without a net” show Set List on the Nerdist Channel is Marcus Brigstocke, who has experience with topical humor — all those years on Radio 4’s The Now Show and hosting The Late Edition, lots of appearances on panel shows — but this is different. He’ll have to generate laughs about fairly demented topics being flashed at him on a screen, on the fly, totally spontaneous. Let’s see how he does.
