If you’ve been keeping up with Troy Conrad’s Set List over at the Nerdist channel, you may have very reasonably concluded that improvising comedic material on a never-before-seen topic is really hard. UK comedian Ed Byrne managed to pull off an even more impressive feat on Set List, by successfully improvising an actual one-liner joke. Of course, Byrne has the chops to do, considering his experience touring and performing stand-up around the world, and appearing on Late Night with Conan O’Brien several times.
So, naturally, being thrown into the madness (i.e. having to make up a necrophilia joke) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which is a whole chaotic madness on its own, didn’t phase Byrne too much. Watch Ed, despite his own protestations, cooly and concisely work through every topic that gets thrown at him in the video above.

Mexico’s Chris Hardwick website thinks Irish man is from the UK!
To be fair the article says UK comedian not from the UK. It also says so on his website: http://edbyrne.com/about/
fucking love Ed Byrne!
