SESAME STREET Gang Performs Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s “Tha Crossroads”

Remember that famous Sesame Street episode, the one where they taught kids what to do when judgement comes for you? No, wait, I’m pretty sure that was actually Bone Thugs-n-Harmony‘s “Tha Crossroads,” not Sesame Street.

OR WAS IT?

Well it doesn’t matter anymore who first told the children about crossing over into the next life, not after this mash-up of characters from the show performing the song.

This video was created by Adam Schleichkorn (aka Mylo the Cat) and uploaded to the YouTube account isthishowyougoviral (yes, it is). He took old footage from the show and seamlessly turned it into a music video for “Tha Crossroads.” Here’s the band breakdown (brought to you by the letters B, T, N, and H):

So how do you end up mixing together an iconic kids educational show and a famous song about death?

“This was, by far, the toughest song choice out of all the mashups I’ve ever created, but it’s one of the best rap songs ever, so it had to be done.”

Oh, well that explains nothing, but who cares. This is pretty damn funny, right from the first shot of poor Grover in the rain. I mean, just look at how sad Telly seems when he’s singing about his poor Uncle Charles, y’all.

Which Sesame Street character would you have used in this video? We’d love to hear your thoughts, and we don’t like livin in a hateful world, so make sure you tell us yours in the comments below.
