Oh, Vin Diesel, is there any length you won’t go to charm your fans? Fresh off of making audiences feel a few emotions about a talking tree over the weekend, the Guardians of the Galaxy star will also sing on demand, apparently.
Case in point: during a sit-down with 95-106 Capital FM, Diesel belted out his own version of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” Diesel… maybe should stick to nuanced voice work and being awesomely fast and even more furious, though. The actor’s famously gruff voice just can’t seem to hit those high notes from Smith’s In the Lonely Hour single. That said, this is a valiant effort, and a logical next step after dancing along to “Drunk In Love” back in January.
Side note: I think this is why I’ve been a fan of Diesel for so long: in direct contrast to his onscreen personae, he’s rarely self-serious and seems to have fun playing with his image.
You can see Diesel in next year’s Fast & Furious 7, and he’ll be back as Groot in 2017 for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Vin does “Stay With Me”, Pratt does “Forget About Dre”, now I’m waiting for Batista and Bradley Cooper to cover “Crazy in Love”
Bahahaha! This is great 😀
