For too long we’ve wrongly assumed that Sean Bean was nothing more than a victim of actors’ circumstance. Dying all willy nilly here and there throughout his mighty on-screen career. Be it in The Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, the man has died. A lot. But, as this new video from the fine folks at Funny Or Die uncovers: it might just be Sean Bean who’s in that proverbial driver’s seat. TWIST!

Because even on the set of his new show, the TNT Bean-starrer Legends, the man who was Ned Stark cannot seem to wrap his head around the fact that he may actually be called upon to star in something …and live to tell the tale! Crazy, innit? So, naturally, he goes into self-sabotage mode (like any good creative type because FEELINGS).

Man, Sean Bean is sort of winning the Internet as of late, isn’t he? Between his Reddit AMA, the hashtag for Legends (#DontKillSeanBean), and spoiling that speculative, super-spoiler-y Game of Thrones theory (seriously, don’t click that link if you want to have your mind potentially blown while also possibly/maybe ruining the potential surprise trajectory of the HBO series), the man has re-captured the hearts and minds of us all. Amazing that dying all the time could have such a positive, life-affirming effect on one’s life, eh?
