SCOTT PILGRIM is Getting a ‘PRECIOUS LITTLE CARD GAME’ This Summer

It’s been seven years since Bryan Lee O’Malley brought his epic Scott Pilgrim series to an end, and we’re still in love with the characters and the absolutely insane world that he created for them. But this summer, fans will be able to revisit Scott Pilgrim and his friends in a new card game.

Oni Press and Renegade Game Studios have announced that Keith Baker has created Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Card Game, a deck-building game that will allow players to assume the role of Scott Pilgrim and some of his supporting characters. Each character will have their own unique starting deck, and the game will even embrace the video game style of the graphic novels by giving players the choice between solving their problems with violence or empathy.

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Card Game

That is not the final box art for Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Card Game, but we think it’s a pretty good sign that Scott’s love, Ramona Flowers, will also be a playable character in the game. The announcement wasn’t specific about which characters would also be playable in the game, but if we had to guess, Knives Chau, Wallace Wells, Kim Pine, Stephen Stills, Stacey Pilgrim, Young Neil, and Julie Powers seem like natural choices. As much as we’d also like to play the game as Ramona’s Evil Exes, it doesn’t seem likely since the game is focused on putting the players through “challenges you to grow up and prepare for your finest hour.” That includes battles against the Exes, which will reward players with power-ups if they emerge victorious.

Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Card Game will be released this summer, and we can’t wait to try it!
