Sam Rockwell, More Top TV Writers, Meatballs: Upcoming Podcasts

First things first for my weekly Nerdist Podcast Network preview: I am not going to tell you what’s coming on a certain show on Wednesday, because every time I do, the schedule changes. Second, the usual reminder, schedules may change. Third… there is no third. But we CAN preview a few things that you’ll hear this week:

Sam Rockwell will visit the Nerdist Podcast, and he has some news about a particular movie he was in and a possible sequel’s fate — you WILL want to hear it. And there are audition stories, comedy vs. “serious” acting, and a lot more.

There’ll be another pair of episodes of The Writers Panel this week, one featuring Ben Karlin of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report and the other the Wayward Pines panel from ATX. If you are at all interested in the art of writing for TV, you should be subscribed to The Writers Panel by now; there’s no other place in any medium with so much fascinating insight from so many of the biggest names in the business.

Hungry? Restauranteur Michael Chernow will be on The Jonah Keri Podcast to talk meatballs. That makes sense if you know that Michael is the co-founder of New York’s The Meatball Shop, and Michael is an expert on marketing and branding restaurants as well as the host of FYI’s Food Porn, so you’ll learn a lot about the food biz. Delicious.

And Fusion TV correspondent and executive Nando Vila will be Alexi’s guest on Love, Alexi. Plus, new episodes of all your favorites.

Wanna make sure you hear everything? Go to the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage and Facebook page. And if I may interject a personal note, Go Villanova.
