The ground beneath Los Angeles trembled this morning and it may not have been because of an earthquake. Sony Santa Monica Studio dropped what appears to be a hint to a new God of War sequel.
The Gods have spoken once again, maybe they are just excited for #E3 #earthquake #LA

It’s been nearly ten years since the original God of War title was released in 2005, and with E3 just a few days away, it would be the perfect time to announce another mythological outing with the God-killing Kratos.
There have been four God of War titles developed by Santa Monica Studio, a trilogy and a prequel, with God of War III releasing in 2010. The studio has been relatively quiet since we saw the rise of Kratos in 2013’s Ascension, but this tweet could very well be the beginning of what’s to come.
Of course, the tweet could have just been a bit of fun, especially since *SPOILER ALERT* Kratos seemingly killed all the Gods and Titans that stood in his way, so who exactly would the God of War battle against? Then again, the next title could be a follow up to the prequel.
