Before there was the amazing Parenthood or phenomenal Friday Night Lights, writer Jason Katims was busy with a little-known WB/UPN sci-fi series called Roswell. The series, based on the Young Adult book series Roswell High, followed the lives of a group of alien teenagers that crashed to earth many years ago and have made camp in the mecha of UFO lore, Roswell, New Mexico. The show ran for three seasons and went on to gain a bit of a cult status when it became available to stream on services like Netflix. Now, on the year of its 15th anniversary, cast members Shiri Appleby, Nick Wechsler, and Brendan Fehr, along with creator Jason Katims and others to be announced, will be attendance for a special reunion panel at this year’s ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas.
In addition to that, it’s also been announced that the festival will hold a special preview screening of the upcoming series The Night Shift with co-creator Gabe Sachs and co-stars Jill Flint and Daniella Alonso ahead of its May 27th premiere on NBC.
The exact date and time of both panels is currently TBD. Tickets and more information will be available by clicking here.
