Earlier this year, the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel collided in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And it hasn’t taken long for the writers and animators of Robot Chicken to offer up their take on that titanic superhero conflict.
Adult Swim has released Robot Chicken‘s new Batman v Superman parody, which finds its Caped Crusader going way out of his way to illustrate his point: he’s all out of f***s to give. You have to admire Batman’s commitment to the bit. He clearly spent some time and money in his attempts to humiliate Superman, but that kind of implies that he did have a f*** to give. Yet it would defeat the purpose of the gag if we overthink it.
As for Krypton’s favorite son, he eventually gets so frustrated with this dickish jerk that he simply leaves before Bruce Wayne’s alter ego can bring in the next part of his routine. Though we have to wonder if this parody was created before the film came out, because it doesn’t mock the “Martha!” moment that will live on in comic book movie infamy. Knowing this show, that scene will probably come up at some point in the future. Maybe more than once.
