Sitting down to talk about David Michôd’s The Rover just once wasn’t enough for me. There is plenty more to be said about Michôd’s taut, peri-apocalyptic thriller that takes two men on a journey across the Australian Outback, so I sat down with Michôd and stars Guy Pearce (“Eric”) and Robert Pattinson (“Rey”) to talk about creating such a spartan work, what makes their characters tick, and much more.
