Heads up, Marshmallows! If you thought this year’s Veronica Mars movie was your last trip to Neptune, think again. The CW Seed (the CW’s home for digital series) has just announced a new spin-off from creator Rob Thomas, Play It Again, Dick, starring Ryan Hansen, best known to Mars fans as party animal Dick Casablancas.

As Hansen himself pointed out to our own Clarke Wolfe when she interviewed him about his new CBS show Bad Teacher just a couple of weeks ago, this new meta adventure will find Hansen trying to get his character his very own spin-off. And as Entertainment Weekly points out, this means we’re more than likely to see other Mars veterans, as Hansen tries to make them a part of his dream — especially with Mars mastermind Thomas at the helm.
