Because this is the cafe we deserve, even if we didnât realize we need it right now. So we’ll go there. Because weâre hungry. Because we need waffles. A well-made sandwich. A stack of pancakes. A Dark Knight coffee shop.
Jump in Wonder Womanâs invisible jet and head to Southeast Asia because the second DC Comics Superheroes Café is scheduled to open this month in Singapore. The original Malaysian café is a part of a massive DC Comics store at the Sunway Putra Mall. Although lots of DC comic heroes make the menu, like Green Lantern mint tea and Superman cappuccino, itâs the Batman section weâll be making reservations at.
A few of the offerings include Batman-sandwiches. POW! Batman-Hawaiian pizza. WHAM! And na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-lattes.
Serious question: why donât we have one of these? We release superhero movies every four hours, we canât get one sandwich with a Batman logo on it? Guy Fieri has a place in Times Square, but the Caped Crusader canât serve me a cup-of-coffee?
And why stop there? How about some other comic-inspired fare? Maybe an Aquaman seafood restaurant? Or a Spider-Man taco stand? What about a Fantastic Four BBQ place that re-opens every few years and we get really excited to go there but then we all hate it?
If you feel like being jealous, there are plenty of more pictures from the café on foursquare and fastcocreate.
