RICK AND MORTY Clip Has Jemaine Clement as a Mind-Reading Fart

Did you guys watch last weekend’s Season 2 premiere of Rick and Morty?! You should have if you didn’t; I don’t know if you know this, but it’s the funniest and best sci-fi show on TV (I said so myself). If you thought having an infinite number of uncertain Ricks, Mortys, and Summers was weird, just wait until you see the second episode, entitled “Mortynight Run,” a pastiche of Midnight Run where the titular duo have to track fugitives. And some dark stuff happens.

In the below clip, after something unfortunate happens involving intergalactic assassin Krombopoulos Michael (voiced by the always chipper Andy Daly), they happen upon Michael’s intended target, a floating, amorphous cloud of synapses and glowing orbs (voiced by Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement). Rick, as usual, is not a big fan of this guy, and refers to him as a “Mind-Reading Fart,” a name which the Fart himself seems to take to like a duck to water (which I’m not sure is a saying). Morty then lets him going, which is prooooooobably not the best thing he could do. Just saying. Morty, like, doesn’t usually, like, have a good track record for these things.

As always, Rick and Morty airs on Sundays at 11:30PM on Adult Swim, and you probably ought to watch it because it’s only the best.
