REN & STIMPY, HEY ARNOLD!, INVADER ZIM and More Classic Nicktoon Are Coming To Hulu

If you’re a child of the 90s (and there are many of us), there’s a good chance a majority of your youth was spent plopped on the couch watching Nicktoons, Nickelodeon’s glorious slate of original animated programming. Now that 90s kids are in their 20s, a good majority have been going through a period of serious nostalgia for some of their favorites. Well, thanks to a renewed deal between Nickelodeon’s parent company, Viacom, and Hulu, they’ll soon be able to satisfy that craving for 90s sweetness all they want.

According to Variety, under a renewed deal to keep the likes of The Colbert Report, The Daily Show and Awkward on the service, Hulu has also gained access to a treasure trove of old school Nickelodeon series including Invader Zim, Ren & Stimpy and Hey Arnold! In addition, the deal also includes some scripted Viacom series that will be new to the service, such as Workaholics, Faking It, and Hot in Cleveland. It should be noted that while these were the programs listed, the wording of the report does indicate it probably won’t be limited to only these series.

The roll-out of these show is expected to occur over the next few weeks, but should be completed by the end of 2014. So, come New Years Day, you’ll be able to marathon these old cartoon classics to your heart’s content. Who’s up for a live tweet?!

Which of the newly added Nicktoons is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

Awesome! Probably this will lead to Invader Zim’s Revival and maybe some others too!

  2. Violet says:

They are all already on Amazon Prime……..
(Which ends up being cheaper per month – if Hulu decides require a membership to view episodes- with NO COMMERCIALS, and added features such as book rentals, free 2 day shipping, etc. HMMM)
