Remembering Iconic Actor and All-Around Badass Christopher Lee

The world lost one of its great entertainers today. Venerable British actor and heavy metal musician Christopher Lee has passed away at the age of 93. Well known for his roles in Star Wars, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and his breakout performance as Dracula in 1958, Lee’s prolific career spanned decades. With more than 250 projects under his belt, he was beloved to horror, sci-fi, and cinema fans of all ages. After such a prolific, wide-ranging career, Lee’s passing doesn’t feel so much like the loss of an actor as it does the loss of a friend. He approached each role with a passion and gravitas that not only stole the show, but elevated the esteem of the entire production. Join Dan Casey as Nerdist News pays tribute to the life of the iconic thespian. Rest in peace, Christopher Lee. You will be missed, but not forgotten.
