Relive Your Favorite GAME OF THRONES Scenes with House LEGO

Since its premiere on HBO four years ago, the time between seasons of Game of Thrones has crawled, while the episodes go by in a flash when they finally air. Each installment often feels like the fastest hour of television each week. You can always squeeze more out of the series by reading recaps, making gifs, and reading or rereading A Song if Ice and Fire. Or, if you’re House LEGO, you can recreate the on screen scenes in LEGO form.

House LEGO has been running since July 2013 and started by posting photos of custom minfigs. The pics of LEGO figs eventually turned into group photos and smaller scenes and that has evolved to complete miniature dioramas. Sometimes the inspiration is pulled from George R.R. Martin’s books, but most of the sets are straight from Game of Thrones.

Builds have included Daenerys’ camp outside of Meereen with Grey Worm and Daario Naharis, the sinking of Black Betha in the Battle of the Blackwater, and a detailed depiction of the Red Wedding that includes Grey Robb. For the last few weeks, the Tumblr has posted scenes from the current episode within a day. You can already see the fight that happened this week on “The Watchers on the Wall.”

The LEGO dioramas may not be intricate, but they’re still impressive. They effectively communicate what’s happening in the scene, and the person behind the Tumblr uses his bricks creatively. Plus, it gives us more Game of Thrones things to drool over!

I’ve included some of my favorite scenes from the series and minifigs in the below gallery.

Which scene from Game of Thrones do you want to see in LEGO? Let us know in the comments.
