REIGN Actors Talk Season Two and Bypassing History at Comic-Con

Perhaps the biggest surprise success of The CW’s last season was their new period drama, Reign. Sold as Game of Thrones for tweens, the show’s continued to grow a fan base that was out in full force for this year’s Comic-Con. Behind the scenes at the press line, Nerdist Editor-in-Chief Brian Walton had a chance to speak with Megan Follows, Toby Regbo and Adelaide Kane about how the show will be kicking off its second season, the importance of its portrayal of Mary as a strong female character and whether or not the series will deviate from its real life history.

You can keep up with this and all the Nerdist Comic-Con coverage this weekend by bookmarking the SDCC splash page, as well as following us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Reign returns this fall on The CW.

Had a huge crush on Megan Follows back in the Anne of Green Gables days, might have to watch the show.  Or not.
