While Kanye West is certainly a… divisive character, there is one aspect of the hip hop superstar that’s undeniable: the man can write some crazy-ass tweets. But even better than reading those crazy-ass tweets to yourself is hearing them read aloud by a string of stars who attended the Oscars.
In the above video, YouTube star and Vanity Fair correspondent Tyler Oakley asks a bevy of Hollywood’s elite to interpret Kanye’s craziness, and the result is a range of glorious takes on the original content.
Included in the line-up is…deep breath here…Whoopi Goldberg, Patrick Stewart, Emily Ratajkowski, J.J. Abrams, Michael Strahan, Conan O’Brien, Kate Hudson, Mindy Kaling, Will Arnett, Hilary Swank, Monica Lewinsky, Priyanka Chopra, Juno Temple, Martin Short, Maria Menounos, Topher Grace, and James Corden.
While each tweet and respective interpretation has its own yeezy feezy, or “Ye flay” if you will, Patrick Stewart’s Shakespearean rendition definitely stands out among the rest: “I love people. The whole fucking human race!”
Will Arnett’s delivery was pretty stellar as well…he he he… he… Will Arnett.
Regarding Yeezus himself, the self-proclaimed “most important artist living” is up to the usual, ranting about the problems with his SNL appearanceâperfectly spoofed by Deadpoolâas well as dropping a new album entitled The Life of Pablo, which is available exclusively through the streaming music service, Tidal.
And if you haven’t read Kanye’s tweets for yourself, you can check them out here. It’s worth it, as he’s at least 77.7% more influential than Picasso and maybe like… a goat?
