Programmer Puts SONIC THE HEDGEHOG on the Oculus Rift

Depending on how you deal with movement-heavy, first-person video, this Sonic the Hedgehog mod will either be the best or worst thing you’ve seen today.

YouTube user Chadtronic created this Sonic level using the Unreal Engine and the Sonic GDK modding tools, one of several old-school gaming projects he’s been showing off on his YouTube channel, including versions of Mario Kart and F-Zero.

Chadtronic is in good company with these old-school mods: Earlier this year, Vaecon created a mod for The Legend of Zelda, and, basically I’m just hoping someone will be ambitious enough to bring X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter to the Oculus so we never, ever have to play anything else ever again.
