Premiere: Story of the Running Wolf’s ‘Electric’ is Necessary Monday Morning Synth Pop

A little hungover from the first day of the football? A little tired from staying up too late to read a graphic novel? Both? Well, we have got just what you need this morning in the way of cathartic dance jams that will make the beginning of your work week a breeze. Nerdist is proud to premiere Story of the Running Wolf‘s retro synth jaunt, “Electric”. Feast eyes and ears below.

In the duo’s video, two curious best friends make some risky modifications to a dumpster-keyboard, somehow programming a mannequin to life. Their mechanical sorcery also makes their house turn into a galvanized, neon dance party, complete with women wearing animal masks and Story of the Running Wolf members Josh D’Elia and Jeffrey Chernick playing luminescent instruments. The whole affair makes us want to get up and shake off our early workweek listlessness. We think you guys will dig.
