POWER RANGERS Comic Launch and Official Tribute Exhibition

Ai yi yi! Saturday night, all the Rangers in the Los Angeles area were called to action as Boom! Studios and Saban Brands celebrated the release of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic #0 issue with a launch party at Gallery Nucleus.

The Power Rangers series has spawned a 22-year fanbase and if the event was any indication, there’s no signs of stopping. Artwork, prints, and sculptures lined the walls in tribute to various eras of the Rangers. Fans waited in a line that wrapped around the building just for a chance to see the art and pick up the comics bundle pack of intermixed Ranger covers by Spectrum Award-Nominated artist Goñi Montes.

Writers Kyle Higgins and Mairghread Scott were on hand to sign the comics and there were plenty of photo ops with costumed stunt Rangers.

Real-life Power Rangers were in attendance as well, albeit in their civilian clothes. Time Force Rangers, Red Ranger Jason Faunt and Pink Ranger Erin Cahill, as well as Cameron Jebo, Silver Ranger of Super Megaforce, all stopped by to take photos with Ranger fans who were excited to see their heroes in person.

Limited Edition Power Rangers prints were sold with other prints available online. The official Power Rangers pop-up shop will be open at Gallery Nucleus from January 16-31.

Check out all the launch party photos in the gallery.
