Does This Conspiracy Hint at POKÉMON Switch?

Last year, Nintendo unleashed Pokémon Sun and Moon for the 3DS as fans patiently awaited word that the franchise would hit the Nintendo Switch soon after. This week, Pokémon gamers are crying conspiracy, after Nintendo quietly took down a video from February 2016 that revealed Sun and Moon. It seems unusual because Nintendo didn’t feel the need to remove the announcement video for Pokémon X and Y. Does this mean that a new Pokémon announcement is on the horizon? Today’s Nerdist News is going full Detective Pikachu to give you the truth. But you can’t handle the truth!

Was there really a need to take down the old announcement video to make way for a new one? Probably not, especially if Nintendo thought fans wouldn’t notice that it was gone. We always notice!

It’s probably no coincidence that the latest round of Pokémon merchandise has included the “look to the stars” tagline. One thing is clear, if there is a Pokémon announcement in the wings, it may come ahead of E3. Until we get definitive answers, the fans are just gonna keep on guessing.

What do you think about Poké-gate? Are you ready for Pokémon Stars? Let’s discuss in the comment section below!
