New POKÉMON Clothing and Accessories Celebrate the Ever Spooky Lavender Town

One part cute and one part spooky, Pokémon‘s new accessory collection inspired by Lavender Town will turn heads when you walk into school or the office this fall. The officially licensed collection includes laptop cases, pencil cases, leggings, hats, and more, and all are now available exclusively in the U.S. on Pokémon Center.

The eerie Lavender Town in the Kanto region is practically the stuff of legends, first appearing in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue as a village that’s home to the spirits of Pokémon that have passed away. (It’s also the source of a real-life urban legend discussed in a recent episode of The Dan Cave.) A haven for ghost-type Pokémon, there isn’t a shadowy setting in the franchise that’s better suited to the creepiest time of year.

In Pokémon Center’s new Lavender Town collection, ghost-type Pokémon happily haunt color-changing mugs, standard-sized backpacks, and more by way of a spooky-yet-sparkly dark purple pattern. The merchandise also features the Pokémon Tower, an iconic landmark of Lavender Town. The village may be a chilling location in the world of Pokémon, but you’ll be warm and snuggly thanks to the cozy sweatshirts and scarves that are also part of the collection. Items range in price from $9.99 to $39.99.

Take a look at just some of the new Lavender Town apparel and accessories line with the photos below, and then head over to Pokémon Center to make sure you get your favorites in time for Halloween and beyond. (It’s never too soon to start planning for Halloween!)
