PLANET EARTH II’s Iguana Escape as Narrated By Marshawn Lynch is Pure Beast Mode

PLANET EARTH II’s Iguana Escape as Narrated By Marshawn Lynch is Pure Beast Mode

If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck. But if it moves like a beast, evades would-be tacklers like a beast, and takes it safely to the house like a beast, well then it could be a beast, an iguana, or former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.

We know because this crossover video, featuring the internet’s favorite snake-eluding baby iguana—the amazing little guy we told you about from the first episode of Planet Earth II from the BBC—with narration from retired Seattle Seahawk Marshawn Lynch (a.k.a. Beast Mode) talking about his famous touchdown run in the 2011 NFL Wild Card playoff game against the New Orleans Saint, the one forever known as the “Beast Quake,” works perfectly.

We first came across this mashup at Uproxx, and it was shared by Reddit user thecoachtaylor, and if you imagine the iguana is actually thinking “oh oh, might be trouble” while trying to escape this den of snakes then somehow this perfect video becomes even more perfect. (That is too a thing, it’s in the Constitution and everything.)

Now in fairness to the iguana, if Marshawn had been brought down (and no matter how many times you watch it you’re sure he’s going to be tackled) he wouldn’t have been literally eaten, so the little lizard was playing under slightly more duress.

But still, game respect game, and obviously both of these beasts have game.
