It’s going to be hard for Planet Earth II to top last week’s thrilling sea iguana vs. snakes chase, but the BBC may be onto something with the dancing bears from last night’s second episode.

While fans in the U.S. will have to wait until January to see full episodes of Planet Earth II, viewers in the United Kingdom traveled just last night via their televisions up into the Canadian Rockies to witness the behavior of grizzly bears in the wild. Along the way, the remote cameras picked up some unintentionally hilarious footage of the bears rubbing up against the trees.

Now, there may be a number of reasons that the bears do this. They’re probably trying to shed some of their excess fur or mark the trees with their scent for territorial reasons. Perhaps they just really have an itch to scratch. Either way, it’s really funny. And even the BBC is getting in on the fun by setting the footage to Kool and the Gang’s “Jungle Boogie.”

And if that wasn’t enough, BBC did it again by using The Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha” as the soundtrack for another bear video.

The third episode of Planet Earth II will air this Sunday, November 20 on BBC One, and it will explore the animals that live in jungles. We can’t wait to see which clips go viral from that one! (And for American viewers, the series premieres on January 28.)
