Ever find yourself feeling a little saucy, desperately in need of a good Italian food pun that’s been illustrated to perfection? Then you’ll want to eye-snack on Austrian illustrator Michael Hacker’s latest book, unforgettably named Pizzeria Disgusto. It seems like the kind of coffee table tome that can’t Farfalle short.

The Kickstarter page for Pizzeria Disgusto (which comes via Laughing Squid), was posted by Hacker—who’s done artwork for everyone from Queens of the Stone Age to Red Bull to Vice—and within only 17 hours the project had reached its funding goal. It seems that there is quite a large audience for food puns. (Tumbleweed made of al dente spaghetti rolls off into the distance…)

Hacker notes that there are 60 food puns with associated illustrations, and according to the few he’s posted as samplers—you can find a big handful of them on the Kickstarter page—this buffet of illustrations is going to be a very tasty treat.

Even though Hacker has reached his original funding goal, the Pizzeria Disgusto Kickstarter isn’t cooked yet, because there are now stretch goals. If the goals are met, anybody backing the project will receive items (including coasters, pins, stickers, and menus) in addition for free.

Oh, and if you pledge €1,000 (about $1,093), Hacker will make and give to you a “Brushtache” made of his own, very sweet, mustache.
