Pitfall: Urban Adventure

In case you haven’t seen this yet, the woman who fell into the mall fountain while texting has company: This video shows a 10-year-old boy falling off a subway platform in Italy and onto the train tracks while playing a video game:

The Daily Mail article says that the boy was so engrossed in his PSP that he didn’t notice his proximity to the edge of the tracks. It’s okay to laugh now because the kid wasn’t hurt and was rescued, but this could have ended in quite a different way.

Moral: Look up, willya?

Fun tidbit: That woman who fell into the fountain at the mall? The was my childhood hometown mall–the Berkshire Mall in Reading, PA. VERY late 60s-early 70s decor.

Believe it or not many states (New York of example) are considering laws to make it illegal to text while walking.

I think that’s a little to much though.

This video of a drunk girl that falls in front of train in Boston is way scarier.

Train stopped like a inch from her head thanks to the people on the platform.

    When does the train come?

  6. Livius says:

This never happened to me when I was a kid playing my gameboy.
