Pickle Rick Remix Turns Itself Into an Upbeat Earworm

Let’s take a second to just thank the wonderful weirdness of the internet. In addition to holding every bit of information anyone would ever need, it’s also the repository of humanity’s finest nonsense. And now we must include this autotuned remix of the Pickle Rick episode of Rick and Morty. We’ll continue this article once you’re back from the 10 or so times you listen to it.

Welcome back! You loved it, right? How’d the people you undoubtedly sent it to enjoy it? Oh, you’re listening to it again? That’s cool. We’ll meet you in the next sentence.

Hey again! This video was created by YouTube’s Chetreo whose channel is chock-full of inventive remixes of some of our favorite things in pop culture. By creating catchy choruses from autotuned dialogue and setting complementary beats to them, these short ditties are becoming some of our favorite things on YouTube. What seems to work so well about the Pickle Rick remix is how it doesn’t get bogged down with too many samples or the heavier themes later on in the episode. It’s an upbeat 100% pure, unadulterated, celebration of the ridiculousness of Rick turning himself into a pickle.

Chetreo just might be our new favorite YouTuber since he also remixed episode two (“Rickmancing the Stone”) into a heartfelt ballad from the robot version of Morty. Our hope is that he continues to create these quick and catchy songs for each episode as season three progresses.

What do you thi-*burp*-nk of the remix? Let’s *burp* discuss in th-the comments below, Morty! Then check out this disturbing, hand-sculpted Pickle Rick and spend a hour making your own Rick and Morty memes.
