“You know what spring means? Summer is coming!”

We’re going to have to agree with Cecily Strong here and say that winter is definitely the scariest of seasons. (Though autumn does have Halloween…) Strong joined Game of Thrones‘ Peter Dinklage, who is hosting Saturday Night Live, in the promos for this week’s show

Sitting near a large window overlooking Rockefeller Center, the two shared an intimate moment, where Dinklage compared the beauty of all of the flags in the plaza to the woman he will share the stage with Saturday night: Gwen Stefani, this week’s musical guest.

“She is so fine. And she’s been, like, fine since the ’90s. No doubt.”

Strong also turned into every cousin of yours that watches Game of Thrones yet somehow knows nothing about the show (you know, the kind who says, “I’m a bit of a nerd” but isn’t at all), especially what the characters’ actual names are: “So you play Tyrone on Game of Thorns. How has that been for the last 10 years?” Gonna bet Dinklage deals with someone like that every day of his life.

Dinklage is way overdue to host SNL, but with season six of Game of Thrones less than a month away (April 24, a.k.a. the reason for living right now) this is a perfect time to remedy that.
