Peaches is Coming to ORPHAN BLACK

Peaches H. Christ are we excited about this development! Apparently, the teaches of Peaches will make their way onto Orphan Black this season, the singer/performance artist/all around queen of subversion announced via Facebook on Tuesday. Nerdist can confirm that this news is, in fact, very true and very exciting for anyone who loves radtacular badass things coming together.

“Blammo! News is out!,” the post reads. “I’ll be appearing in the upcoming season of Orphan Black!” The announcement is accompanied by a photo of Peaches and Tatiana Maslany, lookin’ like she’s on her Sarah Manning beat when she has a run-in with Peaches.

Oh man, could this be another run-in with a Neolutionist club, ala everyone’s favorite tail-severing adventures/investigations from season one? Take a look at the image and decide for yourself:

If nothing else, both of their outfits are decidedly handsy. According to Canadian outlet Exclaim!, Peaches “will perform on the show,” and “her episode was shot at Toronto’s Bovine Sex Club.” According to a source, the episode will take place later in the season.

If you’re familiar with Peaches’ work, this announcement will likely feel like the perfect marriage of messaging between the two entities. Orphan Black has spent most of its four seasons investigating the connection between nature, nurture, sexuality, gender identity, science, evolution, and femininity — all things near and dear to Peaches’ lyrical heart. Her investigations of what it means to be human, and alive, and dealing with this world are what made Peaches into the international boss babe of badassitude and radical self expression.

Something tells us Cosima and Felix are going to be mighty pissed to have missed this show.
