With Guillermo Del Toro’s robot vs. giant monster movie- Pacific Rim– set to make a kaiju sized splash into theaters on July 12th, you’re going to hear a lot about the film in the coming weeks, and justifiably so- I mentioned the robots and giant monsters, right?
To whet your appetite even more, here is the recently released IMAX poster for the film, designed by artist Sergio Grisanti and featuring- you guessed it, a robot vs. a giant monster.

The standard, non-IMAX posters with a giant robot made me double take because I thought it was another Transformers movie. Did Michael Bay sign onto this one?
