Own an Exact Replica of the Lexus 2054 from MINORITY REPORT

Minority Report is one of those sci-fi movies that made the point that the showcase of what the future could look like is just as important and the story being told. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I felt that the 2002 film balanced the two very well (having been directed by Steven Spielberg was probably a big help).

Now, you can actually own your own piece of the future on display in the now 14-year-old movie—eBay user Mike Vetter has created what he calls the 2016 “Vetter Custom Dimensia.” First reported by The Verge, this custom car is almost an exact duplicate for the Lexus 2054 featured in the Tom Cruise film.

It was built with a Porsche engine and has a Ferrari red exterior (so three different cars are represented in this awesome looking machine), and the interior is a two tone grey with leather seats. Like all of Mike’s custom cars, this 6-cylinder vehicle is drive ready so whenever the psychic you have chilling in your backyard pool says you are all out of milk, you’ll know exactly how to get to the store.

Living in the future isn’t cheap, however. Yes, you can purchase this car, but it runs at $95,000 or best offer. My suggestion: have your pool-dwelling psychic tell you who is going to win the NBA Finals and place your bets. Milk can wait.

You can check out more pictures of the Dimensia in the gallery below.

So what do you think? Would you take a spin in the Lexus 2054 if money was no object? Or are you still saving up for that Batmobile you’ve wanted since you were six? Let me know on Twitter or get mad at what happened to Colin Farrell’s character with me in the comments below.
