OUTCAST Looks Just as Creepy as You Hoped in New Teaser

“I’m seeing things I can’t explain.”

“These things are everywhere; they’re all around us.”

“I saw it.”

Something is definitely going on this town, and whatever it is is very creepy, and it looks like it’s going to be freaking awesome.

Cinemax has released the first official teaser for their upcoming adaptation of Robert Kirkman‘s comic Outcast. Considering the network seems all-in on the show—having already ordered a second season (and why not considering Kirkman’s comic book The Walking Dead has become one of the most popular shows on television)—so this thirty second trailer is just the beginning.

Outcast‘s main character is Kyle Barnes, a man who’s been dealing with demonic possession for his entire life when he meets eight-year-old Joshua Austin, a boy with his own demon possession issues—ones that are different but somehow related to Kyle’s own. Kyle seeks out the help of Reverend Anderson to deal with them.

Barnes will be played by Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) with Philip Glenister (Ashes to Ashes) in the role of the Reverend, and young Gabriel Bateman as Joshua.

The first season has a ten episode run, and premieres on June 3rd. Considering the first issue of the comic was released on June of 2014, the turn around from page to screen has been remarkable. That’s what happens when everything you touch seems to turn to gold like it does for Kirkman.

So Outcast fans, what are you most looking forward to seeing from the new series? Scare up your thoughts in the comments below.
