ORPHAN BLACK Has a New Trailer and is Moving to Thursdays!

If you’re looking for everybody’s favorite clonespiratorial rabbit hole, you’ll have to fall back to earlier in the week, because Orphan Black‘s new trailer has announced the series is moving to Thursday nights in season four. Weee!

Naturally, the move to as prime a spot as Thursday nights only bodes well for our favorite sestras: a lot of people, frankly, don’t watch TV on Saturday nights (they like, go out and have lives and stuff? I don’t know). So BBC America moving Orphan Black to—arguably—the biggest night for television viewing speaks volumes to their support and commitment to the show. Needless to say, we’re beyond pumped for Thursday, April 14th at 10PM.

And—hoo boy!—is it going to be a walloper of a season. In the email blast featuring the trailer, the season is set up thusly:

The new season sees Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) returning home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive new ally tied to deceased clone Beth (Maslany), whose identity Sarah stole in the series’ first episode. With the stakes higher than ever before, Sarah and her sisters band together to uncover the missing chapter of the clone conspiracy – following Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent enemy who holds the key to their survival.

Speaking from our own experience on the set of the series (stay tuned for heaps of goodies from that!), this description is only scratching the surface of the proverbial Neolutionist nightmare. It’s.about.to go.down, Clone Club. Hold on tightly to your sestras now more than ever. C’mon Thursday, April 14th!
