Alright Orphan Black fans, if you haven’t seen the finale turn away now for a potential spoiler of the cutest order. If you have, well then get ready to bask in the adorable glory that is this video from the wee-est clone in the clone club, actress Cynthia Galant. Who is likely better known to the rest of us out there as Baby Rachel Duncan and 8-year-old current clone/daughter of Marian Bowles, Charlotte.
Galant was, as we all were, truly charmed by the silly yet fun clone club dance party that took place during the season two finale and took matters into her own hands to show her obsession. But while most of us are limited to merely enjoying the on-screen goofiness (and checking out the Orphan Black tumblr for GIFs of the moment), Galant was able to recreate it and bring to mind a veritable Muppet Babies-esque take on our grown-up Tatiana Maslanys. And not that we really need to say it, but: it is preciously good.
According to YouTube user Alexander Galant (who we’re going to go out on a limb and say is likely Cynthia’s father), the littlest clone “was inspired to recreate the Clone Dance from Season 2 Finale after watching the ‘Making of’ several times” in addition to a suggestion from an Orphan Black fan comment on his channel. According to the description, “Cynthia had a blast doing it and now has a whole new respect for Tatiana’s hair, make-up and wardrobe change overs.”
How do you think Galant did on interpreting the dances of the clones (we think she did pretty good)? Let us know in the comments.
Here’s the story behind the making of the mini-clone video:
