Online Heists Coming to GRAND THEFT AUTO V March 10th

What’s more fun than planning and executing complex robberies with friends?

In a recent update from Rockstar, the developer finally announced a release date for the highly anticipated heists for Grand Theft Auto online — March 10th. Unfortunately for those waiting to play the game on PC, there is some bad news. Getting another slight delay, PC gamers will have to wait until April 14th for both the retail and digital release.

Heists will introduce the co-op madness fans have been clamoring for since it was announced. You will be able to group up with 3 other friends online to complete stringed-together raids and robberies throughout Los Santos. While no other information was divulged, Rockstar promises to release more news in the coming weeks. It will be interesting to see how many people jump back online since the wait has been so long.

As for the PC release, this isn’t the first delay and it must be fairly frustrating for the community. Rockstar acknowledges the problem and is now offering $200,000 of in-game cash usable in GTA Online for those that pre-order the game. The silver lining here is that they are working on having both GTA Online and Heists fully functional at release. It does sound like they have been hard at work though, promising increased levels of detail, configurations options and ultra-definition support which is exciting for those with powerful rigs.

Is it too late for the release of heists or are you still all in? How about the PC version? Let us know your heisting plans on the comments below.
