Olivia Munn Shows off Her Ninja Kicks for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Former Attack of the Show hostess and Newsroom co-star Olivia Munn has one of her biggest feature film roles in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse movie as the fan-favorite, telepathic ninja, Betsy Braddock a.k.a. Psylocke! Earlier this summer, Munn demonstrated some of the sword fighting skills that she’s picked up while training for the role. But it appears that Munn will be showing a lot more of Psylocke’s ninja moves on screen!

In a new Instagram video posted to her personal account, Munn practices several martial arts kicks in quick succession.

Between Munn’s surprisingly faithful Psylocke costume and her newfound skills, the only way that she could be any more like Psylocke’s comic book incarnation is if she describes her psychic knife as “the focused totality of my psychic powers” several times over the course of the film.

Within the movie, Psylocke, Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Angel (Ben Hardy), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) serve as the four horsemen of Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), a seemingly immortal nemesis who may be one of the world’s first mutants.

Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Jubilee (Lana Condor), and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) are joining the X-Men in the new film. James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, and Josh Helman are reprising their roles from X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Director Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse will be released in the theaters on May 27, 2016.
