Old STAR WARS Characters on CONAN Lament Not Being in THE FORCE AWAKENS

“Look at him, like he didn’t pay his parking tickets and they put a boot on his head.”

“He looks like Lex Luthor’s playing laser tag.”

Aww, don’t feel too bad for Lobot, it turns out he’s a huge (possibly racist) jerk. Which is probably why he didn’t get asked to be in The Force Awakens, along with the rest of these Star Wars rejects.

This seriously funny sketch comes from the Conan O’Brien show and features some past Star Wars characters having breakfas, trying not to admit how disappointed they are that J.J. Abrams didn’t give them the call to go back to the galaxy far, far away. Jango Fett, Lando Calrissian, Oola, Dengar, and Bib Fortuna all tried to make themselves feel better, especially at the expense of “Mr. Hollywood,” Chewbacca.

“I hope he gets lice,” said Jango (played by T.J. Miller).

“Look, we were in the classics, this is just—Hollywood is out of ideas,” said Oola (played by Aisha Tyler).

“It’s not like they’re getting better as they go,” added Jango, even if he did admit he might see it.

That’s when Lando spotted his former right hand man, Lobot, who had something mean for everyone, including the lovable Gonk droid.

“Jango, loved you in that Quentin Tarantino film, Jango Unemployed.”

Of course, poor Bib, with his health problems, got it the worst. “Looks like your whole head sneezed” was the nicest thing Lobot had to say to him.

The Force Awakens is just the first of three films. Maybe there is still hope yet for them.
