We’re back with another edition of Off the Top! This time around, Jessica and I are here to discuss the Resident Evil 2 remake. Many folks have been asking for Resident Evil 2 to be remade, and thus, are giving Capcom a free pass on what they’ve often been slandered for: re-releasing old games in a cash-grabby fashion, as if they’ve run out of ideas on making new ones. Perhaps we should excuse them this time, especially since they did leave this decision to a community poll and this is clearly them giving their fans exactly what they desire.

We also discuss what we’re expecting to be announced at BlizzCon this year–now that Blizzard’s already unveiled the next World of Warcraft expansion–and just how much we’re onboard with Microsoft’s implementation of backwards compatibility into the Xbox One.
