LEGEND OF ZELDA Game Collection Mounted on Wall Like Gold Records

The Legend of Zelda has been around for quite some time now. It’s a franchise that has produced classics time and time again. Not surprisingly, the series has gained a legion of dedicated fans who are now all grown up. So, the question is: how do you display your lovely collection of The Legend of Zelda titles while still looking sophisticated? Reddit user Mcphage posted this incredible shrine that includes most of the titles from the Hyrule-set series in a tasteful manner. Custom 3D-printed mounts were used to properly exhibit the beautiful cartridges and discs. Peep the images in the gallery below.

Let’s be honest, our generation, more so than previous generations, consists of overgrown children. That’s by no means disparaging; it just means we need to get creative with how we convey our love for all things nerdy. This display is great because it properly shows off the games in a picturesque manner. Choosing to include background images from the game in the frame is also a great choice, giving it that extra pizzazz.

The only downfall to this display choice is the inability to easily grab the games and play them. Going this route is surely not permanent, but it’s the extra step to getting them out of the frame that sounds annoying. Staring at these would bring the itch of playing these classics. That’s obviously a nitpick, however, because it still looks fantastic, regardless.

The golden cartridge of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time would look fly in this collection, but would just cost a bit more to nab.

What do you think about this display? Would you like to take the same approach? Do you have a collection you’d like to show-off in this manner? Let us know in the comments below.
