Norwegian Rocker Creates Heavy Metal Version of The Beatles’ HEY JUDE

Okay, so this is cool: Norwegian rocker Leo Moracchioli of Frog Leap Studios has created a heavy metal cover of well-loved tune Hey Jude by The Beatles and shared it with the world. If you’re expecting something similar to the original, throw all your pre-conceived notions out the window and jam out to this psychedelic dude (with a glorious braided goatee, might I add).

Moracchioli has done quite a number of metal and acoustic covers of popular songs, and they all have the same boundless energy and excitement that this cover exudes. The video is quite dynamic: through multi-camera angles, we get to see him rock out with his guitar in different parts of his house, bust out a tambourine, find his guitar pic in the kitchen cabinet (like you do), and have some all-out hardcore fun.

Out of his studio in Norway, Moracchioli mixes, masters, films, and edits these videos himself—and then posts them on his YouTube channel. He also gives handy tutorials for testing out equipment, singing in pitch, working with a bass guitar, how to edit your videos, and so on and so forth. Not surprisingly, this guy already has quite a following.

If you’re interested in connecting with Moracchioli and supporting him in making more awesome covers, you might consider becoming a Patreon. And to keep up with his new musical adventures, follow Moracchioli on Twitter @FrogLeapStudios.
